Stirling Albion are in William Hill Scottish Cup action this weekend when we take on Deveronvale at Forthbank, bidding to book a place in next week’s fourth-round draw.
We enjoyed a 5-0 win away to Dalbeattie Star in the previous round while Vale shocked Peterhead 3-2 at Princess Royal Park.
Charlie Charlesworth’s side are also going well in the Highland League and are third in the table, three points behind leaders Cove Rangers with a game in hand, after coming from behind to beat Lossiemouth 3-2 on Saturday.
Admission prices are £10 adults and £5 concessions and fans are reminded that season tickets and Bino Bonds are not valid. If the game ends in a draw, the replay will take place in Banff on Saturday November 10.
Steven Weir will miss out as he completes a two-match ban but manager Greig McDonald will be back in the dug-out after returning from his honeymoon.
Albion last reached the fourth round in 2009/10 when we beat Auchinleck Talbot 2-1 at home in round three but we have gone out at this stage in the last two years, losing to Partick Thistle and Dundee at Forthbank.
