Albion land Deveronvale tie

Stirling Albion have been drawn at home to Highland League Deveronvale in the third round of the William Hill Scottish Cup on November 3.

Deveronvale shocked Peterhead 3-2 on Saturday to reach this stage but we enjoyed a 3-1 win away to the Banff-based club in the Ramsdens Cup last season.

Charlie Charlesworth’s side are fifth in the Highland League but trail leaders Nairn County by only three points with a game in hand. They have won four, drawn one and lost one of their six matches so far, scoring 18 goals and conceding just three.

Third-round draw in full:
Buckie Thistle or Annan Athletic v Turriff United
Dumbarton v East Stirlingshire
Airdrie United v Raith Rovers
Stranraer v Queen’s Park
Partick Thistle v Cove Rangers
Forfar Athletic v Clyde or Nairn County
Albion Rovers v Greenock Morton
Cowdenbeath v Selkirk or Vale of Leithen
Edinburgh City v Queen of the South
Inverurie Loco Works v Arbroath
Ayr United v Clachnacuddin
Stenhousemuir v Berwick Rangers
Brechin City v Bonnyrigg Rose
Rangers v Alloa Athletic
Elgin City v East Fife

Ties to be played on Saturday November 3
