Davidson hit with two-match ban

Albion striker Scott Davidson has been hit with a two-match ban after being sent off for violent conduct in Saturday’s 3-1 defeat to East Stirlingshire at Ochilview.

The 20-year-old was dismissed by referee Gavin Duncan after kicking out at Shire skipper Kevin Turner 27 minutes into the local derby, with the score at 0-0.

The Scottish FA have confirmed he will miss our next two games against Berwick Rangers in Division Three and Dalbeattie Star in the Scottish Cup but will be available for the visit of Rangers on Saturday October 6.
