Stirlingshire Cup preview

There are no league games this weekend but Albion are in Stirlingshire Cup action on Saturday when we travel to the Bet Butler Stadium to face Dumbarton in the semi-finals.

Kick-off is 12 noon and admission prices are £5 for adults and £2 concessions. We reached this stage with a 2-0 victory over Alloa and the winners will face Falkirk in the final.

We last lifted the Stirlingshire Cup in 2005/06 and have won the trophy 14 times in all.

Striker Bradley Coyne misses out through injury and the game comes too soon for Shaun Fagan, although the player-assistant manager trained this week. Midfielder Danny Ashe (illness) will also miss the match against Alan Adamson’s outfit, who have several ex-Binos in their squad – including summer signings Andy Graham and Ross Forsyth.
