Binos Gear Up for Falkirk Tie

Greig McDonald is relishing the prospect of taking on Falkirk in the Ramsdens Cup on Saturday despite the holders being strong favourites to progress to the second round.

Steven Pressley’s men won 3-0 when the teams met in a closed-door game at Forthbank earlier this month and are defending the trophy they lifted against Hamilton Accies in April.

McDonald said:

“Falkirk will obviously be a very tough proposition. They play the game the way we would like to. They keep the ball very well so we will have to be pragmatic in our approach.

“I was involved in the squad when we beat them in this competition two years ago so it is possible. We don’t have too many injury worries at the moment but Shaun Fagan will miss out.”
