Livi Win Forthbank Friendly

A double from teenage striker Marc McNulty earned First Division Livingston a 2-0 victory in a closed-door friendly against Stirling at Forthbank on Tuesday night.

The 19-year-old was twice denied by the woodwork before heading home the opener two minutes before half-time and he added a second goal from close range in 57 minutes. Jamie Cleland saved a penalty from ex-Bino Iain Russell with 15 minutes left.

It was another good test for Greig McDonald’s squad, who travel to Airdrie on Thursday night for their next friendly fixture, which is again a closed-door affair.
