Bairns Beat Binos in Closed-door Game

The majority of Greig McDonald’s squad – including the manager himself – were involved at some stage when we took on Falkirk in a closed-door friendly at Forthbank this afternoon.

It was an excellent work-out for the Binos but the impressive Bairns ran out 3-0 winners.

Jay Fulton fired Steven Pressley’s men in front after 11 minutes when his 25-yard shot took a deflection and went in off the underside of the bar.

His brother Dale doubled the visitors’ advantage midway through the first half when he converted a spot-kick and a trialist headed home the third goal in 65 minutes.

Former Aberdeen, Arbroath, Montrose and Berwick keeper Mark Peat featured as a trialist. New signing Kieran McAnespie missed out with a minor knock but will be back playing soon.
